Hospital Bag Necessities

It’s been awhile since I’ve had time to sit down and write with everything going on. And this time is no different with all the nesting this mama is doing to prepare for baby girl 🥰so I’ll keep this post sweet & short.

Since having started on this oily journey, I’ve made it my mission to stay away from any & all conventional medicine unless absolutely necessary. I’ve even gone this entire pregnancy without taking any conventional meds 🙌🏼I’ve only been taking my dōTERRA LLV supplements on a daily basis and using DigestZen for heartburn and morning sickness.

So it’s only natural that I would love my labor and delivery to be as natural as possible too!

I plan on diffusing Balance, Peppermint & Wild Orange during labor to help calm my emotions while giving me energy. I’ll also be applying my Mood roller (a blend of Balance, Wild Orange and Frankincense) to the bottoms of my feet and my pulse points to also help with my anxiety.

I’ll be having Javier rub some Deep Blue mixed w| Fractionated Coconut Oil on my lower back to help with the lower back pain associated with all those contractions in hopes of avoiding an epidural 🤞🏼

I’m bringing OnGuard Touch because hospitals = germs and I don’t need to be getting sick lol the OnGuard sanitizing spray is for anyone who wants to visit baby girl and I so that I can ensure no germs get to baby girl.

I’ll be bringing Frankincense, the God of all oils, to put on the crown of baby girls head and down her spine + Balance on the bottom of her feet to help recover from the trauma of birth. I will also be diffusing this after she’s born for both of us to heal.

A few other dōTERRA necessities that I will be bringing but did not picture are my OnGuard toothpaste & OnGuard mouth wash, my Facial Cleanser and my Hydrating face cream. Along with the normal necessities for baby girl and I lol

I hope this helped for any of you mamas / soon to be mamas who would love to have a natural birth while incorporating essential oils! If any of you have any questions, drop them below or feel free to reach out to me and I’ll be more than happy to help ☺️

Until next time,
XO Mama Unfiltered 🖤
