New Year, Same Goals

As 2019 comes to an end, I took some time to sit back and reflect, to look back and see all the challenges we’ve faced as a family, the person I’ve become and the obstacles we’ve overcome. But more than just looking back, I’ve also looked forward, to the goals I want to conquer, to the person I still have yet to become and to where I want to be this time next year. 

We started this year off with Javier being let go from his job, we’ve had to accept help from others (which is in no way a bad thing, but if you know me, you know I’m stubborn and don’t like to rely on others for help lol), we’ve had to rely on food stamps, we’ve been living paycheck to paycheck, and neither Javier nor I have been able to get a job. 

Halfway through the year, I gave birth to my final baby, Javier started school for his Class A and Isaiah started kindergarten. Still no job for either of us. 

Now at the end of the year, Javier passed his class A test and is officially class A certified, just got hired at a new job, but still no job for me. 

Are we where we had hoped to be in a year? No. But are things finally looking up? Yes! We are going into a new year w| Javier finally employed, me still applying everywhere, Isaiah’s speech improving, Elijah becoming potty trained and us looking forward with a positive outlook. 

Now that everything is taking off, it’s time to manifest our best life. Time to work on goals that’s we’ve had for awhile and new goals that we’re adding to the list. 

2020 goals:

• Save enough money to finally get our own house

• Bust my butt w| dōTERRA so my business takes off (ultimate goal is Gold this time next year)

•Lose 14 more lbs by my birthday and tone up

• For me to finally get hired somewhere? Lol

• To live our best life 🙌🏼

We’ve had one hell of a year! So here’s to better years, reaching our goals and talking what we want into existence 👏🏼 see you guys on the other side 😉
